Let's Tango

As most of you know by now Tango Tangerine is the 2012 color of the year. The color Orange is a great color to incorporate into a coastal  home or beach house.It is a color  that evokes energy while being a friendly  and welcoming color.  Orange works well in living rooms and family rooms, where friends and family gather, but you don't limit yourself to those rooms if you are going to use the color, especially if you love it.

As this is a trend, who knows how long it is going to stick around.It's not as classic or timeless as the color Blue per say. Personally. I would not invest a lot of money in a piece of upholstery such as a sofa or chair. Instead if you have a neutral color palette you have a great canvas. to add pops of it in pillows and accessories.  If you don't have an neutral color palette Orange  can be incorporated it in different ways with out spending a lot of money. Use flowers, or just a simple bowl of oranges or tangerines  Paint a table, or a single chair...  if you want the color but don't want the price tag of an investment. Below are some great ways to add this spunky color.. So let's tango!
