It has been three weeks since my last post, I never meant to go this long between posts, but life just gets away from you and so it goes... My husband and myself just returned from a wonderful trip from NH, where we spent Thanksgiving with my husband's family. We got in just in time, because we awoke the next morning to 7 inches of snow and no power! ( this, the day before Thanksgiving) luckily, the power was back on by early afternoon and everything was great! The snow and the cold was wonderful!!! A welcome change from always being warm and humid in the south.
The other reason for our trip, my sister in law was getting married the day after Thanksgiving. The wedding was lovely, and it was great that we were able to spend time together with our family!

Saturday and Sunday was for us. We were off to York Beach Maine Where we stayed at The York Harbor Inn.
Our room looked out over the harbor and we had a balcony. We had a fabulous dinner at the Inn. Can you guess what we had???.... yep, Lobster.. It was so wonderful. Downstairs, there is a pub that resembles a ship. A warm and cozy place for an after dinner drink. I wish I could have gotten some photos but it was too dark.
Loved the wreath on the little barn.
The lobster tree topper is adorable.
This is a piece of art that is a bit.... uh... weird, interesting, trying to figure it out.

Grabbed a few more shots before we had to head back to NH...Actually, 546 photos where taken in all! We have gorgeous photos of snow and covered bridges , so if you are at all interested in me posting about them let me know and I will!

By accident I found your site through another blog and I love your trip to Maine! You guys have such a lovely country... My husband and I love traveling to the USA, but we've got to save up to go back someday. We're just waiting till our baby boy is a bit older. :-)
Anyway, you've got some lovely pictures here, such a wonderful trip! Hope you enjoyed it. I will come here again, it's such a cosy blog!
