A Pre Fabulous Beach Cottage

It's true, double wides, or any other kind of pre fab home usually have a stigma or reputation associated with them. This pre fab cottage squashes that reputation. This 1,476sqaure foot "Hybrid  home, is efficient and environmentally friendly, with an open and airy floor plan is as cute as can be!.The contractor and the designer  couple that own the cottage amp things up to make this adorable cottage perfect for them.

White Oak Planks with a limed finish diminish sand marks from the beach
A built in bench utilizes the space of  this sunny breakfast nook.
                                                         Recycled tile glass back splash

The green ceiling adds contrast to the white walls. Pretty patterns and textures create a sunny room.

Traditional southern architecture on the siding and shutters.
An open and airy welcoming living room!

I love this. Something similar would be perfect for us, should we decide to sell our lakeside condo. We like the idea of a private, stand alone lake house.
