Coastal Toile

Toile, Love it or hate it, it's here to stay. I have never been a huge Toile fan, but I am beginning to like it a bit more since There are now  modern, and coastal designs that give this pattern that originated in France in16th century  new life. Not that anything is wrong with the traditional patterns. It's just not for me.Toile can be seen on just about anything right now, from teapots to towels. What do you think of toile?

Barry Dixon's use of Toile in A St. Bart's home.

This sailboat Toile wallpaper is really cute for a child's room.

Mixing pattern's with toile can give a modern look.

These Island Toile covered  Parsons chairs from the movie Somethings Got To Give, are so sharp.

A subtle use of toile in these pillows, just add a pop of color for this coastal room.

A modern toile in this beach house By Mary Emmmerling.

Love the Chippendale chairs with the the green and yellow toile.

Can you see the toile?

I am LOVING these coastal twists to Toile, gorgeous!!! The first picture is beautiful and looks great with the way the Toile was used.

I am starting to love toile. I used to not like it at all. I am thinking of having my two living room chairs slipcovered in light red toile.
