Wu Hoo ! Janson Wu!

 Up until recently, the fabulous fashion designer Jason Wu's line to be released on February 5th  for Target , has been  kept pretty hush hush. Several pieces have been shown as a preview,and I like what I am seeing! This line is sure to be a hit There is a definite nautical flare to many of the pieces, with Nautical stripes and plenty of Red and Blue. The line has somewhat of a modern day vintage look  while looking Demure, feminine and preppy.  Who else is excited about it decides me?

 

 

"Prep World Prep World"

 Remember "Wayne's World"? Well, it's" Prep World" now! Twenty Five years ago Tommy Hilfiger launched his fashion business, and to celebrate this mile stone..... Hilfiger has released a limited collection called "Prep World".  Pop up Prep Shops will be popping up { say that 3 times fast} in the United States and various international  cities around the world..The traveling 800square foot, Hampton and Nantucket  inspired beach house, has already been in NY and London. The prep look is making it's way back  in a big way, and  to get it perfect he left no stone unturned. Who better to collaborate with, than   Lisa Birnbach, author of the 1980s "Official Preppy Handbook", a book{ I knew backward and forward and still own.} and author of the recent book True Prep. I love The Prep World collection  Its a  has vintage and modern look for the new hip prep. There are so many nautical goodies that are sure to be a hit, for the chic coastal life style. There is going to be  whole lot of " Collar Poppin" goin on!

Gary McBournie's Nantucket Boat House

This  home was featured in House Beautiful in 2007. When I saw it. I just had to share.Designer Gary McBournie's creates a unique Nautical themed home, without being over top.

I love the unfinished beam look

The kitchen counters are made from Teak. The floors are wood plank painted with deck paint.

No Nantucket would be complete with out Nantucket baskets.

The Nautical flags are perfect!



What kid, or adult for that matter wouldn't like to snuggle up in this loft?
